Horam Bowling Club was founded in 1951, and is a mixed club with around 70 members, including Life and Social members.
The club plays Lawn Bowls between April and September, and Short Mat Bowls during the winter months. We compete in a full list of fixtures both League and friendlies against other clubs in the Local area. In addition to these external matches there are internal competitions.
However, it’s not all about competitions. The club has a reputation for being relaxed and friendly, and members like to pop in for “roll-up” games, and also to enjoy the various Social activities.
We have a team willing to train new members and help improve the skills of existing members.
There are different categories of membership: Full Lawn Bowls, Full Short Mat, and Social.
